Nigerian Startup Publiseer Secures Strategic Partnership with Italian eBook Aggregator StreetLib

Publiseer, a leading Nigerian digital book publishing platform, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with StreetLib, an Italian eBook aggregator. This collaboration aims to amplify the reach of African literature and non-fiction works by distributing them across a broader network of global book platforms.

Both companies, members of the International Publishing Distribution Association, are set to work closely to advance Publiseer’s mission: “Promoting the creativity of the African people to the rest of the world.” The partnership was initiated by Marco Croella, Chief Operating Officer at StreetLib.

Prior to this deal, Publiseer had successfully published and distributed nearly 100 African-authored book titles to over 400 global book platforms in more than 100 countries, including notable platforms like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Google Play Books, and Apple iBooks. With StreetLib now on board, Publiseer’s distribution network will expand significantly, adding 70+ new digital stores such as Leamos, Perubookstore, Nineva, Artcivix, and Nubleer.

The partnership was overseen by Ose Okojie of Publiseer and Lucia Zitelli of StreetLib. Speaking about the partnership, Marco Croella expressed his enthusiasm:

“I thought there could be a chance to work together. I’m quite excited about this collaboration.”

Chidi Nwaogu, Co-founder of Publiseer, echoed this excitement:

“This is our first international partnership, and we hope it’s the first of many.”
