Apple Locks Down macOS with Stronger Security Measures

Apple is stepping up its cybersecurity game with macOS Mojave, introducing new security features to protect users from data tracking and malware.

The update brings improved privacy controls, restricting apps from accessing user data without explicit permission.

In addition, Apple is cracking down on browser fingerprinting, a tracking method used by advertisers to monitor users without cookies.

Safari now limits fingerprinting by presenting a simplified system profile, making it harder for advertisers to uniquely identify devices.

With increasing concerns over data privacy, Apple’s push for stronger security measures sets a high bar for the industry, forcing competitors to follow suit.
