Tesla’s Model 3 Production Finally Hits Target

After months of missed deadlines and production bottlenecks, Tesla has finally reached its long-promised goal of producing 5,000 Model 3 cars per week. Elon Musk celebrated the milestone on Twitter, calling it a victory for the company’s survival. However, reports from inside Tesla’s factories suggest that the road to this achievement was anything but smooth.

Employees describe intense pressure to meet the production targets, with some working long shifts and even sleeping in the factory. Tesla resorted to assembling cars in an outdoor tent to ramp up output. Quality control has also been a concern, with some Model 3 owners reporting issues with fit and finish.

Despite these challenges, Tesla is proving that mass production of an affordable electric vehicle is possible. The company’s stock price has rebounded after a rocky few months, and Musk remains confident that Tesla will turn a profit in the next quarter. However, skeptics warn that sustaining this level of production will be the real test.

With legacy automakers like Volkswagen, GM, and Ford ramping up their own electric vehicle plans, Tesla’s ability to scale Model 3 production while maintaining quality could determine its long-term success.
